Following a comprehensive assessment by the National Association of Business Crime Partnerships in February 2015, the Bath & District business Crime reduction Community Interest Company has again achieved the industry standard, SAFER BUSINESS AWARD with Distinction.

The Bath City Marshals and the service they provide to the members in the partnership were highly commended, as an initiative that clearly deters and reduces the fear of crime, as well as providing an ambassadorial role.

The role of the marshals was explained, the type of incidents they attend, how they handle difficult situations in the street, and in member stores. They work as part of a team with Bath police and PCSO's on a regular if not daily basis, with the partnership members and the members own security guards.

B&DBCR C.i.c  City Marshals are supplied by RS SECURITY, and have made a direct contribution to this award, and are an example of how other BCRP's could add this valuable service to its members.

We are pleased to be continuing our partnership with R S Security, as they share our working in partnership ethos.

Already, we are looking back and wondering where this year has gone. It is now only 2 weeks until our first big music festival. This year so far, we are already looking at an increase in bookings of nearly 15% over 2017, yet still ensuring we maintain our high standards.

We are also now branching further afield, with events now booked from Newquay to Edinburgh dduring a hectic season.

RS Security are looking to recruit high calibre SIA staff and stewards to help cover these and many more contracts.
